The VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF (GDXJ) is designed to closely mirror the financial returns (both price appreciation and income generation) of the MVIS Global Junior Gold Miners Index (MVGDXJTR), prior to factoring in its own management fees and operational costs. This underlying index tracks the overall market performance of smaller-capitalization firms primarily engaged in the mining and production of gold and/or silver.
