Brent Wood

Founder & CEO

Brent has spent over two decades leading engineering at companies where finance, media, and technology converge. He was Head of Consumer Web and Mobile Engineering at Bloomberg (Bloomberg.com, Businessweek.com), Director of Software Engineering at Coinbase (Discovery and Community in the Web3 Platform & Applications division), and Director of Software Engineering at Meta (News Feed Experience — the Like button, comments, and ranking). At Amazon he led Books Shopping for print and Kindle across 14 marketplaces, then Prime Video Mobile worldwide, and most recently served as Director of Software Engineering through 2024. Earlier in his career he was CTO of JW Player, Director of Technology at Disney Parks & Resorts Online, and co-founder / CTO of several venture-backed startups — including Zendatta, acquired by USWeb.

Dylan Wood

Founding Software Engineer

Dylan is focused on AI and cybersecurity. At AlphaMadera he works across the stack on the systems that turn raw market data into research tools real investors use — including AlphaMadera Compass (the LLM-driven equity research chat with grounded tool use), AlphaBlog (a daily AI-written market briefing with generated cover art and TTS narration), and the background worker pipeline that ingests SEC filings, earnings transcripts, and price data on schedule. He’s most interested in building systems that are both intelligent and trustworthy — where prompt safety, data integrity, and auth boundaries map directly to user trust.

Between Brent’s track record building consumer products used by hundreds of millions of people and Dylan’s focus on the next generation of AI tooling, the team brings both depth of operating experience and proximity to what’s actually possible in AI today.
