It invests in fixed income markets of the United States. The fund primarily invests in U.S. dollar denominated, fixed-rate and non-convertible U.S. Treasury securities that have a remaining maturity greater than one year and less than or equal to thirty years. It seeks to replicate the performance the ICE BofA US Broad Market Index and the ICE U.S. Treasury Core Bond Index, by using representative sampling technique. iShares Trust - iShares U.S. Treasury Bond ETF was formed on February 14, 2012 and is domiciled in the United States.
